there in
afternoon
in time
for
lunch at
leisure
in
Morogoro.
Dinner

overnight
at
Morogoro
Hotel
Day 2:
Uluguru
Mountains
Trekking
Early
morning
around
6.00 am
transfer
by car
to
Towero
Village,
arrive
there
around
6.30 am.
From
Towero,
hike on
the
slopes
of
Uluguru
mountain
to
Ruvuma.
Then
continue
with
hiking
to
Morningside
village
(12000m
above
sea
level).
At
Morning
side the
view of
Morogoro
Town
stretching
into the
distance.
Rest at
the
Morningside
House,
which
was used
as a
resort,
during
colonial
times;
after a
lunch
box
proceed
to the
Uluguru
North
catchments
forest
reserve
an hour
hike up
mountain
along
the
winding
road and
steep
farmland
trails;
remnant
of
indigenous
forest.
In the
forest
there
are some
monkeys
and
forest
birds.

to
Towero,
board
the car
and then
return
to
Morogoro
Hotel
for
rest,
dinner
and
overnight

Transferred
to
Mikumi
National
Park by
Car
Breakfast
and
transfer
to
Mikumi
National
Park for
a full
day
Safari,
starting
with
sunrise
game
drive:
Mkata,
Chamgore
(place
of the
python),
and
Mkata
Food
Plain
within
Mikumi
National
Park;
lunch at
Mikumi
Wildlife
Camp
(Kikoboga).
Proceeds
with
game
drive
till
late
sunset.
Dinner
and
overnight
at
Mikumi
Bush
Camp
Day 4:
Transferred
to
Udzungwa
Mountains
- Sanje
Waterfalls
Transfer
to
Udzungwa
for a
full day
hiking
through
tropical
green
forest
to Sanje
waterfalls.
Expect
to see
monkeys,
including
rare
Iringa
red
Colobus
and some
very
really
long old
trees,
some of
them 200
years
old
along
the
trail.
You will
also see
birds
and
beautiful
butterflies
here.
Arrive
at Sanje
waterfall
relax
and
swim.
Dinner
and
overnight
at the
Campsite
in the
bush
Day 5:
Udzungwa
– Dar es
Salaam
Morning
breakfast
and then
descend
to the
Ranger
Post
meet the
waiting
driver
and
drive to
Mikumi
Bush
Camp for
lunch
and then
drive
back to
Dar es
Salaam
