its vegetation has enabled
Rubondo Island

seen species are fish and martial eagle, goliath heron, sacred ibis,
saddle-billed stork, parrots, kingfishers, cuckoos, bee-eaters, sunbirds,
and other water fowl.

Day 1:
Arusha - Serengeti National Park
- Fly-in
to Serengeti National Park (08:45 am) with Regional Air/AirExcel, Pick
up from the Seronera Airstrip and drive to Serena Kirawira Camp Western
Serengeti with enroute game viewing; after early lunch game drive in the
park, dinner and overnight at Serena Kirawira Camp Western Serengeti

Day 2:
Full Day Game Drive Serengeti National Park
- Full
day game viewing in Grumeti Area and Seronera Valley; Late afternoon
return to the Kirawira Camp for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Flying to Rubondo Island
- Wait
for schedule light plane for Rubondo, departing from Grumeti Airstrip.
Afternoon proceeds with walking and/or boat safari searching for birds
and other wildlife, you will be accompanied by an armed ranger. Dinner
and overnight at a

Day 4 & 5: Rubondo Island Boat/Walking Safari
- Full
day of Island excursions, which start with half a day boat excursion
around the island watching hippo, crocodile and water birds; After lunch
rest and then proceeds with foot walking excursion, which might bring
you closer to otter, bushbuck, velvet monkey, and the omnipresent
Sitatunga, expect to see elephant, giraffe, colobus monkey or the shy
chimpanzee; Dinner and overnight at a Luxury Tented Camp

Day 6: flight from Rubondo to Arusha via the Serengeti

Breakfast at the tented camp and then light plane to Arusha via
Serengeti National Park; arrive there in the afternoon. Transfer for
your onward arrangements.
