Day 1:
Marangu
Gate to Maundi Crater (Kilimanjaro
Mountain)
Pick up
form the hotel, Drive to the Marangu
Gate, after registration start walking
safari towards Mandara Hut, where you
can rest and have lunch, then proceed to
Maundi Crater, which is famous for the
flowers and scenery. After taking a view
of the crater, descend to the gate, meet
the driver and drive to Kilimanjaro
Mountain Resort for dinner and
overnight.
It
involves climbing through semi-tropical
rain forest, and sometimes in wet
circumstances.
Day 2: Culture Tour in Marangu Village
Half day
cultural tour/interaction in Marangu
Village, getting a great view of Mount
Kilimanjaro, visiting the waterfalls and
coffee farms, acquainted with people
living around
Kilimanjaro mountain,
especially Chaga people. Late afternoon
after lunch drive to Arusha, near Arusha
National Park for dinner and overnight
at Meru Mbega Lodge
Day 3: Arusha National Park – Mkuru
Village
Drive to
Arusha National Park for game
viewing with picnic lunch box; late
afternoon drive direct to camel camp at
the foot of Mount Meru in
Mkuru Village.
In the evening enjoy dancing, singing,
eating and drinking under a roof of
stars in the middle of the Maasai step.
Dinner or overnight at the Mkuru Camel
Camp
Day 4: Camel Back-Ride Safaris
Breakfast and then spending full day
riding camels in the wilderness of
Maasai Plains covering the area between
Mount Meru
and Longido Mountain; it will
be guided by Maasai Warriors,
well-trained and knowledgeable to the
environment, and might take several
hours in the before breaking for lunch;
allows you to go deep into the heart of
the bush where you can observe closely
giraffes, zebras and many other animals,
and get in touch with the local
communities that are perfectly
knowledgeable of their rich cultural and
natural heritage dinner and overnight at
the Mkuru Camel Camp
Day 5: Return to Arusha
Town/Kilimanjaro Airport
Breakfast and then drive to back to
Arusha Town or transfer to Kilimanjaro
Mountain for flight to Zanzibar for
relaxation.
