Day 1: Lake
Manyara – Ngorongoro
Pickup from your
hotel and drive to Lake Manyara
National Park for game viewing
Picnic lunch at one of the picnic
sites within the national park. Then
proceeds to Karatu for dinner and
overnight at the Kudu Campsite
Day 2: Ngorongoro
Crater tour
Breakfast, in Karatu
and then drive to
Ngorongoro Crater, descend
to the crater floor for a full day
game drive with packed lunch, late
afternoon drive to Simba Campsite
for dinner and overnight
Day 3: Mountain
Makarot
(Lemagarut) Forest walking
After breakfast,
drive to the foothills of Mt.
Makarot, afternoon forest walking on
the slopes of the mountain. Dinner
and overnight at
Il Misogyny special campsite
Day 4: Full day
Trekking Mt. Makarot
Escorted by Ranger
and Maasai a tribesmen with their donkeys trek to
the top of Mountain while viewing
the crater highlands and the
Serengeti to the far west. At the
top of Mt. Makarot, the view is
marvelous: Lake Eyasi, the
Ngorongoro Crater and Conservation
Area, the Olduvai Gorge and the
Serengeti plains. Dinner and
overnight at the special campsite
Day 5: Return to
Arusha
Descend to the foot
of mountain, meet the driver, and
then drive to the crater rim for
lunch. After lunch, proceed to
Arusha town; Though you have the
option to descend towards Olduvai
Gorge and camp near the Maasai
Village and proceed with game drive
in Serengeti as planned.
