Arusha-Mkuru Ol doinyo Lendaree

After breakfast depart for
Mkuru village for culture tour: options:
climbing Ol doinyo
Lendaree, the pyramidal-shaped mountain. The
climbing takes two hours to the peak.
Getting magnificent view of the Maasai plain
between Meru, Longido and Mount Kilimanjaro;
If you don't feel like hiking, the
alternative is Bird Watching (walking
safari) through the acacia woodland, or
Camel-back safari, giving an opportunity to
visit Maasai people in their BOMAS (houses).
Picnic lunch box in afternoon; Dinner and
overnight at Mkuru campsite

Day 2: Lake
Eyasi Culture Tour

Pay a visit to Tanzania’s
remnant of Bushmen, who have not been
touched by modern life style: the Tatoga
pastoralists, irrigation farmers and the
Hadzabe foragers; opportunity to see them
hunting or collecting honey. Overnight at
the Campsite near Mongola Village

Day 3: Lake
Eyasi Culture Tour

Very early morning
(0545am) you'll drive to the dwellings of
the famous Hadzabe tribe in the bush for
cultural interaction (These are the same
group as the South African Bushmen); get an
opportunity to walk with them and watch the
way they hunt or collect honey and insects.
Return late afternoon for dinner and
overnight at the Campsite near Mongola
Village

Day 4:
Drive to Lake Manyara

Early morning drive to Lake
Manyara for half day game viewing with
picnic lunch box. Dinner and overnight at
a campsite in Manyara

Day 5:
Ethno-Botanical Walks in Manyara - Return to
Arusha
-
Half day Ethno-botanical
walks with knowledgeable and informative
local guide. visiting homes of the local
Iraqw and Mbulu tribes, the river gorge and
learn firsthand about local flora and fauna.
Return for lunch and packing ready to leave
for Arusha Town. Dinner and overnight at
Crown Hotel Arusha
