Day 1: Lake Manyara
National Park
Picked-up from the
hotel in Arusha and drive to Lake
Manyara national park with packed
lunches; full day game viewing the
national park with experienced
guide. late afternoon drive to
Ngorongoro Forest Lodge,
bordering
the magnificent Ngorongoro
Conservation Area and his forest
Day 2: Ngorongoro
Crater Tour
Breakfast and then short drive to
Ngorongoro Crater for full day
crater tour; picnic lunch on the
crater floor; the crater support
large resident population of
wildlife of up to 25,000 -
predominantly grazing animals.
visit lake Magadi and hyena holes.
Late afternoon drive to Sopa
Lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 3: Nainokanoka to
Embulbul
Drive
to Nainokanoka Masai village to the
north east of Ngorongoro Crater and
start
your walking safari from there to
Bulati via Olmoti Crater where you
will have a chance to visit Munge
falls (source
of water, which flow in Ngorongoro
crater) with picnic lunch. Dinner
and overnight at Bulati Campsite (7
to 8 hours of walking)
Day 4: Embulbul to
(Empakai)
Early morning after
breakfast start walking to Empakai
crater visit the crater and then
proceed to the Bivouac Camp for
rest, dinner and overnight,
the
trip takes about 6 to 8 hrs of
walking.
Empakaai Crater: A beautiful crater
contains forest and shallow lake,
with spectacular scenery at every
point. From the eastern side the
cone of still active volcanic
mountain of Oldoinyo Lengai, the
rift valley, Lake
Natron
and even Kilimanjaro are visible
when the skies are clear. The crater
itself, buffaloes and bushbuck are
familiar animals
Day 5: Olduvai Gorge,
Shifting Sands – Nasera Rock
Drive all way down to West of
Ngorongoro Crater to visit Olduvai
Gorge, Shifting Sands and then do
the off road to
Nasera
Rock for sight seeing; late
afternoon drive to Mto wa Mbu for
dinner and overnight at Migunga
Tented Camp,
nestled
in a quiet corner on the northwest
of the lake Manyara
Day 6: Lake Natron
Flamingo Tour and the waterfall
Drive to the
Lake Natron
and visit the eastern side of the lake
for game viewing. The lake is the only
breeding place for the 2.5 million
Lesser Flamingoes that live in the
valley. As an option, hiking the Ngare
Sero Gorge to the waterfalls or other
gorges in the area; You will be briefed
on the climb at the camp after dinner.
Dinner and Overnight at the Lake Natron
Camp

7:
Oldoinyo Lengai Hikes
Early Morning (probably 1:00am) take
light breakfast at the camp; at 2 am or
earlier start the trail. It is a long
and steep climbing of the active
volcanic mountain in Africa that could
take from 6 to 8 hours. The amazing
views of the small crater, the lava that
is flowing over the edge and the Rift
Valley are spectacular; at a clear day
light the
Mt Kilimanjaro and
Mt Meru are all visible. Descend to
the Camp for lunch and drive back to
Arusha
