1: Arrive in Zanzibar

Arrive in Zanzibar,
pickup from the port or airport and transfer to Beyt Al Chai (BB) for
overnight

2: Stone Town Excursion/Historical Tour
-
Breakfast, stone town
tour, which Comprises buildings that have been built beyond 19th
Century, including exploration of the narrow streets and historical
buildings, the former slave market (The Anglican Cathedral), the
Historical and natural history museums of Zanzibar, the house of
wonders, the old fort, Dr. Livingstone House, the old Central Market of
Zanzibar, Maruhubi palace ruins etc. Overnight at Beyt Al Chai

3: Picnic at the Prison Island
-
Pay a visit to the
small island off Zanzibar town (Prison Island); has a horrible history,
it was first used by an Arab slave merchant to detain recalcitrant
slaves. In the 1890s a General Matthews bought the island and built what
was intended to be the prison for Zanzibar. There are giant tortoises of
which some are over 100 years old. The Island is excellent for swimming
and snorkeling. Overnight at Beyt Al Chai

4: Jozani Forest/Paje Beach Excursion

Drive to Jozani
Forest Reserve; this wetland forest is the only one remaining intact on
the island .About 45 minutes drive from the city center, it is home to
the surviving members of the Red Colobus monkeys (procolobus kirkii), a
very rare species and only found in Zanzibar .The into the forest is a
delight, with a swamp in the middle and small streams flowing into the
ocean. There is mangrove forest. And then drive to Paje for sight seeing
before driving towards Bluebay Beach Resort & Spa for overnight

Day 5
& 6: Stay at Leisure on the beach

Stay at leisure on
the beach with option of beach walking excursion to the nearby local
village, overnight at Bluebay Beach Resort & Spa

Day
7: Safari Blue Snorkeling & Dolphins Tour
-
A full day excursion
with using locally made traditional sailing dhows; which involves
snorkeling and swimming with dolphins in Kizimkazi. Picnic lunch on the
beach; this excursion includes a visit to a beautiful mangrove lagoon
where it is possible, when the tide allows, to swim through the mangrove
forest. The guides are also offering the chance to join the crew and
sail in an “ngalawa”, a local outrigger canoe. Late afternoon return to
the resort for overnight (BB)

8: Transfer to the Airport
