Day 1:
Stone Town Tour
Stone Town comprises of the most buildings
that have been built beyond 19th Century. The tour takes
place on foot or by car around town including exploration of
the narrow streets and historical buildings; overnight at
Dhow Palace in Stone Town (BB)
Day 2: Spice tour Up-Country and ruins sites
After breakfast start the journey to the
spice farms and the ruin sites at Kiungani, Mbweni's
Settlement ruins and Mbweni Kirk’s House, Chapwani, a
holiday resort palace for Sultan Seyyid Bargash, and
Mangapwani slave caves. Can be combined with
Jozani
Forest; accommodation at Dhow Palace (BB)
Day 3: Prison (Changuu) Island Tour
A
tour with picnic lunch to an off-shore island near old stone
town, it was used as a prison for misbehaving Slaves. It has
a beautiful coral reef, ideal for snorkeling, and lovely
white beach for sun-bathing. It takes 35 minutes with pre
arranged boat. A tour to the Bawe Island, late afternoon
return to
Dhow Palace (BB) for overnight
Day 4: Dolphin Tour Kizimkazi Fishing Village
Full
Day Tour to Kizimkazi, the main activities is snorkeling and
be able to swim close to the dolphin, actually it’s swimming
with the Dolphin. Accommodation at Dhow Palace (BB) in stone
town
The
area is situated on the southern point of the Zanzibar
Island, Kizimkazi fishing village is home to several schools
of bottle-nosed dolphins and Humpback dolphins, which are
sighted following a short boat trip from the village.

Day 5: Transfer to East Coast of Zanzibar
Breakfast and then transfer to Uroa Beach for beach
resorting, water sports (not included) and staying at
leisure. Accommodation at

Day 6 & 7: Stay At Leisure/Diving activities
Stay at Leisure or spend sometimes in
snorkeling scuba diving in nearby coral reef. The reef is
approximately 1km off-shore from
Tamarind Hotel
- creating beautifully calm waters. The hotel offers snorkel
gear free of charge. The staff can also organise snorkeling
and scuba trips to the nearby Mnemba Atoll where you can
expect to see many coral species, marine life and perhaps
even a turtle or two
Day 8:
Return Stone town – Kilimanjaro Airport – Amsterdam
Breakfast and then drive back to stone town,
drive to the Airport to connect with schedule flight to Dar
es Salaam for international connections |
