Day 2: Game Drive - Rufiji River Boat

Game drives and bird watching in the
morning till lunch time which followed by 2 – 3 hours of
Boat safari
on the Rufiji River late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at
Selous Ngima Camp

Day 6: Drive to Udzungwa
Mountains – Hiking to Sanje Water Falls/Birding

Breakfast at the Campsite and then
drive to Udzungwa, meet the guide and headed out to Sanje Falls.
Trekking through the changing range of the forest; from
Miombo woodland, low-land forest, sub-montane
forest, highland plateau to pristine montane forest till you reach the
famous waterfall in Udzungwa; overnight at the campsite on the
river bank

Day 7: Udzungwa – Mikumi National
Park

Descend to the park gate meet the
driver and drive back to Mikumi with lunch, dinner at the Mikumi Bush
Campsite; Late afternoon game viewing in the Mikumi National Park

Day 8: Mikumi – Ruaha National Park

Early morning drive to Ruaha National
Park with lunch in Iringa. Late afternoon sunset game viewing in the
park; Dinner and overnight at Sunset Mountain View

Day 9: Game Drive in Ruaha National
Park

Early breakfast and the full day of
game viewing and bird watching the Great Ruaha National Park with
picnic lunch in the bush; dinner and overnight at Sunset Mountain View

Day 10: Ruaha – Iringa Town

Do the game drive till lunch time;
after lunch drive to Iringa for rest dinner and overnight at MR Hotel

Day 11: Iringa – Kitulo
National Park

Early morning (06:30) drive to Kitulo
National Park via the scenic route of Makambako and Chimala, where the 9
km long road up the mountainside has 52 hairpin bends. Get wonderful
views of the famous Usangu Flats. Picnic lunch on the riverbank in
Matamba. overnight camping

Day 12 & 13: 2 Full Days in
Kitulo (Kitulo
Botanical Garden)
- Spend 2
full days visiting the Numbi Valley; bird watching is great, including
water birds. The 2 days activities will involve driving and open walking
across the grasslands to watch birds and wildflowers. Hill climbing on
the neighboring ranges; on the last day half-day hike from the park
across the Livingstone Mountains. dinner and overnight camping at
Matamba

Day 14: Drive to Iringa

To avoid long day drive to Dar es
Salaam; you will drive up to Mikumi Bush Camp for dinner and overnight,
with hot lunch in Iringa

Day 15: Iringa - Dar

Morning breakfast followed with short
game viewing in Mikumi and then drive back to Dar es Salaam.
