Gombe National Park - Lake Tanganyika - Kigoma Town - Mahale Mountains National Park - Ujiji Town

Day 1: Transferred to Katavi National Park

From Arusha, by shared charter plane fly to the Katavi National Park, after lunch game drive to the park (Might be combined with late afternoon/evening walking trip) Dinner and Overnight at the Chada luxury tented camp.

Day 2:  Full Day of Foot-walking and Safari Game Drive  

Starting with sunrise walking safari to explore untamed plain of Katavi, walking near water pods to watch Hippos in close range while observing other animals arrive or leaving the water bodies. Late morning break for picnic Brunch (combination of Breakfast and Lunch together) under the tree. Proceed with Game Drive to inner side of this National Park. Late afternoon drive to the fly-camp for dinner and overnight

Day 3:  Game Drive in Katavi Plain

Another day spending exploring the wilderness of Katavi Plain with picnic lunches.  Game drive  along the meandering river and patches of forest which provide picturesque of this unique national Park.  Katavi National Park Harbour one of the largest undisturbed herds of buffalo in Tanzania, elephants, hippos, crocodiles and other sorts of reptiles, others include eland, sable and roan antelope. Return to the camp in the evening for Dinner and overnight

Day 4: Charter Plain Katavi National Park to Mahale Mountain Forest

After breakfast at Katavi take an hour charter plane to Mahale Mountains Forest, Picked-up by boat along Lake Tanganyika Beach then transferred to the Greystoke Luxury Camp in Mahale National Park, Have lunch then short foot-walking safari to the park. Dinner and over night at the Greystoke Luxury Camp

Day 5 & 6: Walking Safari and Hiking in Mahale Mountain Forest

Spend two full days of game viewing: starting with chimpanzee tracking in the mountain forest of Mahale, visiting the research center for Chimpanzee and Hiking to the waterfalls. Late afternoon spend sometime along the beach of Lake Tanganyika relaxing on the soft sand and watching the sun goes down. Dinner and overnights at the Greystoke Luxury Camp

Day 7: Depart for Arusha

Start with walking from the Greystoke Luxury Camp to the beach, picked up by 40-foot solid mahogany boat and ride back to the airstrip, by Charter Plane leave Mahale for Arusha, via Tabora town
