- Day 1: Mwanza to Rubondo Island
- Transfer from Mwanza by car to Nkome to take a boat to Rubondo Island for eco-tourism activities (walking, bird watching, and fishing); with accommodation at TANAPA Hostel

Day 2 & 3:
Rubondo Island
Boat/Walking Safari
- Spend 2 full days of island walking & boat excursions, which start with half a day boat excursion around the island watching hippo, crocodile and water birds; After lunch rest and then proceeds with foot walking excursion, which might bring you closer to otter, bushbuck, velvet monkey, chimpanzee and the omnipresent Sitatunga, expect to see elephant, giraffe, Colobus monkey or the shy chimpanzee; Dinner and overnight at the TANAPA Self catering Bandas
- Day 4: Return to Mwanza
- Breakfast at the camp and then boat ride to Nkome, meet the driver and drive to Mwanza, the hotel/Airport for your onward flight/travel arrangement
