VISA, a valid passport (6 months) and a vaccination certificates
for yellow fever disease are three major requirements when entering Tanzania.
Visas have to be applied at the nearest Tanzanian Embassy or High Commission
or Consulate.
Some Commonwealth and Scandinavian nationals are exempted from visa
applications.
Cross-check with the nearest Tanzanian Embassy or
High Commission/Consulate if you are one of those exempted from this requirement.
Otherwise, a visa can be obtained at entry points: Namanga &
Tunduma, Taveta and Holili
boarders, Zanzibar International airport, Kilimanjaro International Airport,
and Julius Kambarage Nyerere International Airport.
However, be careful with the last option, you may
find that you are in a group of countries that are highly scrutinized or you
may encounter a lot of bureaucracy before you can get in.
For people who are coming from a Country where there is a Tanzania
Embassy/High Commission we strongly advise to get a visa before travel.
comprehensive information can be found here.

stated above.
