Trains:
There are two train lines, TAZARA (Tanzania Zambia Railway
Authority) and T.R.C (Tanzania Railway Corporation). The TAZARA
line operates between Dar es Salaam Tanzania and Kapiri Mposhi
Zambia, via Coastal Region, Morogoro, Iringa and Mbeya before
crossing the boarder at Tunduma to Zambia.
T.R.C is a local train which operates in the central regions of
the country to either, north, west or north-east. It runs
through Coastal Region, Tanga to Moshi (North-east route),
Coastal Region, Morogoro, Dodoma, Tabora to either Kigoma (west
route) or Mwanza (North route)
Airlines:
Tanzania have 3 international airports connecting with world:
Julius Kambarage Nyerere in Dar es Salaam (it is 15 km. from the
city centre), Kilimanjaro (42 km. from Arusha and 40 km. from
Moshi) and Zanzibar (8 km. from Stone Town). Almost all national parks have airstrips

KLM Royal Dutch/Kenya Airways have daily flights from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to Dar es Salaam International Airport (DIA)

from Schiphol to Nairobi, from Nairobi by Kenya Airways to
either Dar es Salaam or Kilimanjaro; Emirates (Abu
Dhabi), British Airways (London Heathrow), Gulf
Air, (Abu Dhabi, Muscat), (Amsterdam, Nairobi), Swiss Air
(Zurich), Emirates, Turkish Airlines, LAM, Uganda Airlines, Air Malawi, Air
Zambezi; while South African Airways from Johannesburg International to Dar
es Salaam; Ethiopian Airline from Addis Ababa
Local charter
or schedule flights are available
to almost all regions: Mwanza, Dar, Arusha, Tanga, Mtwara,
Z'bar, Pemba, Mafia, Selous, Ruaha, Iringa, Mbeya and even
Saadani
Ferries: Mainly available in the Indian Ocean making links
with Tanzania Offshore Islands of Zanzibar and Pemba. There are
ferries operating in all great Lakes of Victoria, Tanganyika,
and Nyasa.
Boat trip Dar es Salaam Zanzibar operates 4 times a day from
either direction, and takes less than 2 hours with speed boats.

Intercity buses serve well in Tanzania; Ubungo Bus Terminal
being a hub for the upcountry regions include Arusha, Moshi,
Morogoro, Ruvuma, Dodoma, Mbeya, Iringa, Mtwara, Lindi, Singida,
Tanga and Mwanza, as well as to Nairobi, Lilongwe, Lusaka,
Lubumbashi, Kampala, Harare and several other East African
cities
